Q. What is Confessions of a Las Vegas Motor Cop about?
A: A memoir about the real-life experiences of an actual Las Vegas motor cop who spent years patrolling the Vegas strip and highways. He
recounts his many encounters with often strange, crazy or misguided citizens and tourists with the gritty, entertaining and authentic reality of each experience.
Q: Why did you decide to write about Vegas, an already well-covered subject in the mainstream media?
A: People don’t seem to tire of the outrageous. I told these same stories
at parties – and the stories always drew a crowd. Friends and associates
began suggesting I write about it, and then one day I decided to just do
it – and here we are.
Q: What is your favorite story?
A: The one where the drunken revelers get pulled over and try to
conceal their newly mixed drink, they hide it in an unconventional and
moronic place – and they get caught anyway. I also like the stories about
the fast-food mishap and the stripper who steps out of the car in a seethrough
garment and nearly causes a pileup on the freeway.
Q: Is it for a mature audience? Or can kids read it?
A: It’s definitely for a mature audience – although there is nothing
hard-core about the stories. I just wouldn’t want to give impressionable
young people any ideas.
Q: If I want to purchase a copy, where can I get it?
A: It’s available for $14.95 on my website
(www.confessionsofalasvegasmotorcop.com), the 3L Publishing website
(www.3LPublishing.com), Amazon (www.amazon.com), or in major
bookstores in summer 2011.
